Three-day WSET Tutor Training Workshop
21-23 May 2008 - COURSE NOW FULL
1-3 September 2008
Everyone applying to become a Recommended Tutor must attend this three-day seminar, which is especially valuable for Tutors who do not have a teaching qualification. The seminar develops tutors' teaching and learner skills, and gives an up-to-date overview of Foundation, Intermediate, Professional Spirits and Advanced level qualifications.
On the first day an overview of the WSET will be followed by a three-hour session on developing teaching and learner skills. On the third day tutors deliver a short presentation based on what was learnt the first day, allowing WSET trainers to observe and give feedback and other tutors the opportunity to observe their peers.
There will also be sessions on the WSET Qualification structure including the Systematic Approach to Tasting, a presentation of running sessions at Foundation, Intermediate, Professional Spirits and Advanced levels, and the opportunity to sit the L3 Assessor training and examination.
