Getting the WSET Level 3 in Wines and Spirits qualification was amazing, it opened my eyes and stimulated my mind.
This qualification has a minimum requirement of 84 hours of study time, including 28 hours of classroom or online delivery time with a WSET course provider.*

Unit 1 is assessed by a closed-book exam of 50 multiple-choice questions and a paper of short written answers. Unit 2 is assessed by a blind tasting of two wines.

The Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits is being replaced with the Level 3 Award in Wines from the 1 August 2016. Students working towards the Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits have until the 31 January 2017 to complete the course, including all examinations and any resits in order to achieve this qualification.
